In 2005 Save Indian family started with a website and a yahoo group . It had very nominal ground presence in Banglaore courtsy a small team of Ex- Sangyabalya. Mumbai or own gokul had started a small group but it was not group that ysed to meet regularly or start work. 
Delhi was in lamentable state with Hardly had anyone . the staggering growth of SIF in LAst 3 years has been stunning to say the least . When it Tribune talks of it now having pan indian phenomenon they arer not far from the truth .It is truly driven by people . There is no complete leader.  

To the uninitiated let me read the through our growth path and then make some conjecture as to what is the next step which will happen from SIF Site and the likely hurdles and the likely response we will recive. 

In 2005 in the after math of implosion of Sangyabalya which was the first of the kind to help mens rights . ( Purush Hakka Sanrakhshana or Pirito poti parishad or Patni pidit manch which wer precursors never had any kind of great following contrary to chugs assertions of millions and PHSS of 1000s as they cannot be verified) 

The claim of SIF group is a modest 8000-1200 folks to be aligned with their cause . 

The and is deminstrated by facts of 2007 end onwards
Delhi Dharna : 250 +

Chennai Dharna : 100+ 
Hyderbad Seminar : 150 +

Still by looks of it SIF has just scratched the surface and only 5% of its potential strength or even less if it focusses on many evils in the Indian society . By being hounded by the indian criminal justice system we are first hand aware of the way the Indian bureaucracy is actually functioning and it is completely bankrupt of morality and ethicality . SIF is bigger then just the narrow view of the harassed husbands. The idea is far more potent . To Save the Indian family from the moral bankruptsy of the feminists, policemen , judiciary and beaurocracy now time has come to fix the various aspect of the Indian society . Save the Inidan Society , polity by saving the Indian decent families. 

I can only see the relentless march of the SIF . Every battle , Every war we have fought we have marched on in victories and defeats.

the first time SIf actually established as serious player was in the November of 2006 when SIF was able to stop in track an accusation that somehow Azeem PRemji was responsible for a domestic violence whcih never occurred becuase of dating allowance . 

We expand our campaigns as we grow in numbers 

from just misue of Dowry , 498a laws to much more comprehensive 21 point agenda for a mens welfare ministery 

Some fo the agendas in clude 
1. 33% reservation for men in child custody 
2. Equal taxation at same salary levels irerespective of gender
3. Equality in Sexual harassment laws.  

To just name a few. 

The SIF of 2005 has also no resemblence to what was in 2005 in terms of organisation . In 2005 it was a strong internet based group . Now it is strong on both ground as well as in the internet . 
the software preofessionals have decreased from being overwhelmingly 85% of the group to now just being under 30% of the total portio nfo the group reflecting that though started by IT folks the issue propounded was never a software or an NRI issues but were broadbased in nature. 

Yet Strength of SIF remain undiluted

Does not look backward but forwards for new social reality and strcuture. 
Does not have any nostalgia for the past inspite of womens organisations claiming men had great authority or power oever women . The only power required is that of an aspirational power. 
Is thoroughly modern and secular in its outlook 
Speaks for equality on all basis.
 Ability to take calculatetd risks and continuouosly innovate. 

What is the scenario SIFF will face ?

The earlier acceptance by the beaurocracy for the pains faced will slowly ease back as beaurocracy tries to defend their indefensible act ?
Womens organisations will use complete double standards. They will try to say if you prove innocence in one you must be guilty of something 
PArliamentarians willbe wildly fluctuating . 

What is the SIFF Way ?
Perseverance , A belief on right , a questioning of everything and making right , tolerace, abililty to continuously gather , grow and participate in the Indian democracies decision making . Also always keep in mind that we arer citizens and beaurocracy , NGOs or the parliamentarians exist to serve for our benefit not we exists for their benefit. 

Everyone who fights for right, Justice and Equality is a Save Indian Family member .

The current way of laws , inequlity before laws in 498a, DOwry and domestic violence act has to go . 

The parasitic norms of the alimony law allowing a tax payer from claiming financial assitence from another Tax payer has to go .
 
The more then 2 years fight in the Family courts have to go . 

For this if we have to change laws , beaurocracies and government  this is a democratic right of the people . 

Who knows the 2019 prime minsiter will be someone who has been grounded in SIFF ? It can happen . Democracy allows us to dream becuase every indian is eligible for the most important post of the nation if the people so will.
